Just got back from a 2-week holiday in Florida with Daughter Sara, Son-in-law Adam, and their two boys Sam, 11 and Tom, 6. We met some interesting people, and once again were struck by how friendly and polite people are in the US of A.
First week we spent in the Theme Parks at Orlando, and the second week we recovered from our aching legs and feet by lounging round the beachside hotel pool down at St. Petersburgh, with a trip down to Clearwater midweek.
At this time of year, of course it was very hot, but when we arrived back home we found ourselves in the middle of a 90f heat wave and without the aircon !
Pics below show a shot of the Magic Castle, followed by Sam, Adam and I at a theme park (like the hat?), then Madge, Sara, Sam and Tom, followed by a view from our apartment balcony at St. Petes, with finally a view of sundown at Clearwater. All in all, Madge and I thought we survived the heat well, and a great family holiday was had by all.
